Different fields appear depending on the module you’re creating. Common fields are below:

Title | Module title visible to users. |
Code | Module identifier, not visible to users, for your internal use only. |
Domain | What’s included in your account, including users, learning paths and modules, reports, audience groups, email templates, and more. |
Skin | Controls how a module appears:
- Classic - Flexible - Flexible, no CSS - Scrolling
Timesaver tip: Create modules from existing modules when you want to keep the same skin for your course |
Publish type | SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Mode) is the set of standards for creating and sharing e-learning content. You can upload third-party SCORM packages, as an alternative to creating in Skillcast. |
Category | You can select Uncategorized, though we recommend using a category that helps with your reporting and uploads. For example, Training 2024, or your Company name. |
Create Learning Path | Tick to create and assign (to one user or multiple users) a new Learning Path to the module. Avoid ticking the box if you’re assigning the module to an existing Learning Path. |
