Module completion page

Updated over 3 weeks ago

This article explains how to set up your training course so that it records completion correctly. This helps ensure that learners progress smoothly through your LMS and that you have accurate reporting on learning outcomes.

You need Edit content permission to access the Content editor.

Finding the module

Find the module you want to edit by following the steps in the article Finding a module. Once you’ve opened it, go to the module’s properties page where you will see the Completion Page setting.

Page and the last page of the module

The module will be marked as complete once the user reaches the selected page and has completed all required activities.

By default, the completion page is set to the Last page of the module.

  • If your last page includes a required assessment, you can keep this default setting. Completion will only be set once the learner passes the assessment.

Custom completion action

Use the Custom completion action option when your module uses a pre-assessment, in‑course scoring, or a button element to trigger completion.

  • This option gives you more control over when completion is recorded, especially if the module flow does not naturally end with the assessment or action you want to track.

Flexible

Use the Flexible setting when your module is non‑linear.

  • This mode marks the module as complete once all required activities have been completed, regardless of the order in which the learner navigates the content.

Conclusion

If you think you have the incorrect permissions, contact your company admin or Customer Success Manager. If you need further help, contact your Customer Success Manager by selecting Send us a message via the help icon on your portal, or by emailing [email protected].
