Dashboard reporting for line managers

This article explains the report hierarchy for staff members and includes troubleshooting tips.

Reports: How it works

Select Dashboard and select the Employees reporting to me tab:

This shows staff who report directly to you. Select the View employee button to drill down into more details. Select View team to view details of anyone reporting to them.

Troubleshooting the dashboard

There may be times when not all employees are visible in the dashboard. Here are some common reasons why, and how to troubleshoot:

  1. Check that all users (apart from CEO or the hierarchy’s highest-ranking person) have the correct Line Manager ID on their profile. This ID defines the dashboard’s reporting hierarchy

  2. Check that users’ Line Manager IDs aren’t also set to their unique identifier (for example, email address or Employee Number). This can break the hierarchy and affect reporting
