Setting a waiting List for an event session

Within an event series, you can add various sessions with unique locations, dates, audiences, and approval settings. You can also enable a waiting list option for sessions that are fully booked.

Adding a New Event Session

To add a new event session to an event series, you must have access to the Management Console and Events Management. For detailed instructions, please refer to Adding Event Sessions.

Enabling the Waiting List

To enable a waiting list for an event session:

  • Access the Management Console.

  • Select Event Management.

  • Search for the Event Series:

    • Choose "Search courses and events."

    • Use filters like "Domain" and "Keywords" to find the desired event.

    • Click "Search."

  • Edit the Event Series:

    • Find the event series you want to update and select "Edit."

  • Update the Event Session:

    • Scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Session" table.

    • Find the session you want to update and select "Update session."

  • Set Up the Waiting List:

    • On the Session page, update the number of users who can join the waiting list. This will automatically enable the waiting list for the session.

The waiting list will automatically open when the event is fully booked and will close when the waiting list reaches capacity or the enrollment deadline is met.
