Enabling the waiting list for the event management system

This article explains how you can enable and configure the waiting list within an event session. The waiting list allows additional users to register their interest once the main delegate capacity has been reached.

How to enable the waiting list

Inside your event session settings, you will see a section called Waiting list. To activate it, simply choose how many users can join the waiting list.

For example, if your event has the following setup:

  • Maximum delegates: 15

  • Minimum attendance required: 6

  • Waiting list capacity: 5

The configuration will reflect these values within the session.

How the waiting list behaves

When all 15 delegate spaces are filled, the event status will change to Waiting list open. Learners can continue to add their names until the waiting list reaches its capacity. Once 5 people have added themselves, the waiting list will close automatically.
