E-learning rating and feedback

This article explains the e-learning rating and feedback feature, how to use it, and where to see the results.

This feature is available on Skillcast LMS and the Skillcast remote content packages hosted on third-party LMS's

You can ask users for ratings and/or feedback when they complete all or specific e-learning activities.

Rating screen: How it works

Users can rate the e-learning from 1–5 stars. A pop-up continues to appear until they give a rating:

Asking for feedback with ratings

If you choose to activate feedback with ratings, users are asked for feedback whenever they give a rating that's less than 5 stars.

The feedback screen has two elements:

  • Selectable feedback options

  • Free text input box

We recommend using all or most of the same feedback options for each module. That way, you get a clearer idea of the feedback from users.

How to view ratings and feedback

1. Select Dashboard > Calendar

2. The graph under E-learning shows a summary of any ratings or feedback. To view more details, select a module and then select the View feedback button:

3. This shows comments, frequency of comments and average ratings
