How to Bulk Upload Offline Activity Records
Step 1: Access the Bulk Upload Feature
Log in to the LMS (ensure you have the correct admin permissions to access offline activities)
Navigate to the Offline Activities section from the dashboard.
Click on the Upload Offline Records button.
Step 2: Download the Template Spreadsheet
Select a category under the "Upload Offline Records" section.
Click on Search and select the activity you want to upload records against.
Note: Ensure there is an existing offline activity.
Choose the applicable user domain for the records.
Choose the user unique identifier
Download the provided template spreadsheet.
Open the template and carefully populate the fields as required.
Ensure all fields are correctly filled as per the guidelines in the template.
Step 3: Upload the Completed Spreadsheet
Once the spreadsheet is completed, return to the Upload Offline Records section.
Click Upload File and select your completed spreadsheet.
The system will automatically process the file and validate the data.
System Validations
Validation Checks:
Missing fields.
Incorrect data formats (e.g., invalid dates or user IDs).
Errors specific to the activity or user domain.
If the file passes validation:
The system will display the total number of records ready to be uploaded.
Click Create Records to complete the process.
A success message will confirm the records have been created.
If you don't have access or the correct permissions, contact your system administrator or Skillcast Customer Success Manager.
