New Offline Activities (No Approval Required)
When creating an offline activity that does not require approval, you can allow learners to freely edit certain fields.
What you need to do
Select User defines activity developmental need
Select User defines activity reflective statement
Select User can edit submission and update
Save the activity
What learners experience
Learners can go to My Learning and:
Add or edit the Reflective Statement
Add or edit the Developmental Need as needed
New Offline Activities (Approval Required)
If an activity requires approval, configuration is slightly different to maintain record integrity.
What you need to do
Select Reflective Statement
Select Developmental Need
Save and publish the activity
What learners experience
Before submission:
Learners can enter their Reflective Statement and Developmental Need
After submission:
Learners will not be able to edit these fields once the record is sent for approval
Existing Offline Activities (No Approval Required)
You can update an existing offline activity that does not require approval to allow more flexibility.
What you need to do
Open the activity settings
Enable User defines activity developmental need
Enable User defines activity reflective statement
Enable User can edit submission and update
Save your changes
What learners experience
Learners can:
Add or edit their Reflective Statement
Add or edit their Developmental Need freely within My Learning
Existing Offline Activities (Approval Required)
For existing activities that require approval, updates apply only to future submissions.
What you need to know
Training records already submitted and approved cannot be edited by submitters or approvers
New settings apply only to new submissions moving forward
