This guide introduces you to Question of the Day campaigns, an effective way for Learning & Development (L&D) teams to reinforce training and test employees’ knowledge in a structured, engaging manner.
What Are Question of the Day Campaigns?
Question of the Day campaigns allow you to deliver daily questions to team members, helping them check their understanding and retain key information over time. This proactive approach bridges knowledge gaps, tracks progress, and enhances learning outcomes.
Setting Up a Campaign
Campaigns are easy to set up and highly customisable:
Choose the start date and time for your campaign.
Decide how many questions to include and how frequently users should receive them.
If needed, skip certain days of the week (for example, if some days are usually busy and answers might be missed).
Important: Only start a campaign once all courses have been signed off. After a Question of the Day campaign has started, the courses included in it should not be updated. If changes are required, such as updating assessment questions, suspend (and eventually delete) the existing campaign and create a new one using the republished course.
How Users Participate
Users receive an email each time a new question is available.
If preferred, these emails can be turned off. The campaign team can also manually send a deeplink to the campaign.
When users select the link, they are taken directly to the active campaign, where they can answer the question or check their performance.
After answering the current question, users have the option to go through a short course on the relevant topic. This is optional and designed to support further learning.
Tracking Results
Users with Reporting access can view all user results, making it easy to identify and address knowledge gaps within the team.
Tips and Troubleshooting
Customise the campaign schedule to fit your team's needs and avoid busy periods.
Remind users to check their emails or use the provided deeplink to access questions.
Use campaign results to inform future training and support.
Start campaigns only after all included courses have been reviewed and approved. If course updates are needed after launch, create a new campaign using the updated course.
Limitations
Email notifications can be disabled, but users will need a deeplink to access the campaign.
Courses included in a live Question of the Day campaign cannot be updated. If changes are needed, create a new campaign using the republished course.
