How to drill down into Learning Path assignments to view activity status

In this artice, you will learn how to view an assignment and the status of one or multiple activities within it

Permissions needed

  • Show dashboard portal page

  • Show assignments on dashboard

  • Show Learning Paths on dashboard

Assignments

  1. Select ' View assignments' and select an assignment/learning path. You'll now see a KPI card labelled “Activities” or "Assigned Activities"
    This card displays the total number of unique activities within the assignment/learning path.

  2. Select the card to opendetailed view, showing each activity as a card with key information:
    Activity type (e.g., E-learning, Policy, document)

    Completion statistics (number of completed, pending, failed)

    Average score and time spent (where available)

  3. Select an activity to give you a breakdown of individual user progress, with option to:

    • Search and filter user records by keyword or show optional assignments.

    • View statuses (e.g., not started, in progress, completed)​

This view gives you a clearer picture of engagement and completion at both the activity and user levels.

Employees

  1. Select the Employee KPI card. You will then see all individual users that are in your reporting remit

  2. Select a user and then select the 'View Assignments' graph to see all of that user's live assignments. You can use the search or sort fields to help you find any specific activity you seek.

  3. Selecting an assignment will show the status of all activities required, even if the user has not started the activity yet.

  4. Select an activity to view any training records.

Learning Paths

  1. Select the 'Learning Paths' KPI card. This will give you a list of all learning paths which have at least one user assigned

  2. Use the search and filter options to refine the list, you can also toggle to view suspended learning paths as well.

  3. Select a learning path to continue, and you should then see the 'Activities' KPI card.

  4. Select the 'Activities' card, which will allow you to see all activities in that learning path with aggregated completion stats for all assigned users

  5. Selecting an activity gives you a list of all users and their completion stats for that activity

  6. You can use the options to filter the list of users by a keyword search, include/exclude optional activities, or by completion status.

  7. Select the 'View Records' option on any user card to see training record details.
