Does Skillcast support processing files for user provisioning with PGP encryption?

Updated over 2 years ago

Yes, as one of the methods of user provisioning Skillcast offer the option to automatically upload a spreadsheet/csv to an SFTP site of all their users, where we will automatically process this file on a pre-defined basis (Daily, Weekly, etc).

Skillcast also support PGP encryption via this method. PGP stands for Pretty Good Privacy, a well known encryption software that can be used on files.

SFTP’s are encrypted anyway, so this is not a necessary step, however some clients like to be extra-cautious with their user data, only uploading an encrypted file. It is more secure than placing a password on a spreadsheet which we do not support.

If you want to send PGP encrypted files specify this to your Customer Success Manager when setting up your data feed.
