As a line manager, you may need to approve event booking requests submitted by your team members. When a booking requires your attention, you will receive a notification email to let you know that an approval is pending.
Accessing event booking approvals
Log into your portal.
Go to the My Team page*.
Select the Approval required tab.
Within this tab, you will see the Approval required for Event section, which lists all requests that need your action. Each entry displays the event date, the trainee's name, the event title and its location.
*Note: The My Team page may have a different label in your portal depending on your configuration.
Reviewing and approving the request
To open a booking request, click on the relevant item in the list. Review the details carefully to ensure the booking is appropriate for the team member.
You will then have two options:
Approve booking
Reject booking
In some cases, you may be prompted to provide additional information before completing the action.
After you confirm your selection, the trainee will be able to see the updated status of their booking.
