How to add new categories for offline training

Do you want to include and track new activities that aren’t online, such as onsite training or live events? This article shows you how.

Permissions needed:

  • Management Console

  • Offline activities

1. Select Management Console > Offline activities > Categories

2. Enter the category details:

  • Name: Title for the category

  • Domain: The default is offline activities, or select a domain

  • Status: This should be set to Live. Use the Suspended status for categories you no longer need

  • Audience: Choose which Audience Group needs access. Users within this Audience Group can select training record forms for categories they’re assigned to.

3. Select the Add category button:

That’s how to create a category for an offline activity or training. This will now be available when you create an offline activity template. If you need different permissions to work with training or categories, please get in touch with your Customer Success Manager at [email protected].
