How an approver can make comments when reviewing a Policy using the Approval Workflow

This guide explains how you can review a policy, add comments, and complete the approval process using the Approval Workflow. These steps apply to any user who has been granted the Policy Approver permission. If you're not sure whether you have the correct access, you should contact your administrator or your Customer Success Manager.

How to review a policy and leave comments

You can review policies and add comments directly from the Management Console. This helps ensure that all approvers and policy managers can collaborate easily before a policy is finalised.

  • Open the Management Console and select Policy management

  • Select Policy approval to see all policies waiting for your approval, as well as policies already approved by all required approvers

  • Select the policy you want to review by clicking its name

  • In the left-hand panel, select Comments

  • Use the comments area to:

    • Add a new comment

    • Review comments added by other approvers or policy managers

    • Reply to existing comments

  • If needed, you can filter the view to show only unresolved comments by selecting Show unresolved comments only

  • Once you’ve finished adding comments, select Close Policy
