Graphs and tables within the dashboard

There are lots of reports available when you access the Skillcast dashboard. This article explains the graphs and tables you can find.

When you login and select the Dashboard tab, under the Dashboard reports you’ll see different graphs and tables.

About the types of reports

These vary depending on the Skillcast products in your portal. Hover over the graphs for a summary, or select the View button to drill down.

Assignments

What does it show?

All assignments that are completed, pending, overdue, declined, or planned.

What can I do?

You can use the Search area to find a specific assignment, or use the dropdown to sort. Select a card to drill down for more information on the chosen assignment. The available values match what is displayed on the cards.

CPD

What does it show?

Each staff member's details on the available schemes, along with progress (completed, on track, falling behind).

What can I do?

You can use the Search area to find a specific scheme or use the dropdown to sort in a specific order. The values you can select from are those displayed on the cards. The available values match what is shown on the cards.

E-learning

What does it show?

All completed, incomplete or failed E-learning for the year, and the cards per E-learning assigned.

What can I do?

You can select a card to view more information about the E-learning progress. Select the Records card to view a list of relevant staff members.

You can also use the Search to find specific assignments, or use the dropdown to sort. The available values match what is shown on the cards.

Policies

What does it show?

All policies that have been attested, completed, viewed, or declined.

What can I do?

You can select a card to view relevant staff members and related policy information.

Offline activities

What does it show?

All activities that have been completed, require approval, failed, or rejected.

What can I do?

You can select a card to view relevant staff members. Select a staff member to view more activity-related information. You can also select a card to view activity-related information and select to drill down into more details. If you’re the approver, you can confirm or reject the activity.

Events

What does it show?

You can review details of who attended, attendance not recorded, not approved, additional delegates required, and approval required. You can also select event cards to view event details.

What can I do?

Select a card to view relevant staff members or events, and drill down for more details.

Compliance registers

What does it show?

The status of all registers that have been enabled to show on the dashboard. Because statuses can be tailored, we’ve put them into these groups:

  • Approved

    Submission has been approved and has completed all approval stages

  • Not approved

    Submission has been declined, and has completed all approval stages

  • In progress

    Submission is currently in an approval stage or is waiting for the submitter to respond

  • Submitted for approval

    Submission has been submitted but has not yet been reviewed by the first approver

  • Withdrawn

    Submission has been withdrawn

What can I do?

You can select a card to view KPIs and high-level submission information relating to statuses. Drill down into a specific register to view submitter details and related high-level information.

Question of the day

What does it show?

The results of all Question of the Day campaigns are available on the portal. These show:

  • Correct
    Number of correct answers within the campaigns

  • Correct, confident (this option is only available if settings have been activated)
    Number of correct answers within the campaigns, where users also decided if they knew the answer confidently

  • Incorrect, confident (this option is only available if settings have been activated)

    Number of incorrect answers within the campaigns, where users also decided if they knew the answer confidently

  • Incorrect

    Number of incorrect answers within the campaigns

  • Not attempted

    Number of questions not answered within the campaigns

What can I do?

Select the View results button to drill down into the graph and view KPIs for each campaign's answers. You can also drill down into each result, showing user details and high-level information of campaigns, topics, dates answered, questions, options and responses.

Select the View users button to drill down into the graph to see the results of each user’s campaign that’s assigned on the portal.
