Introduction
Your My Profile page allows you to update your details, select learning interests, and reset your password - all in one place. This helps you keep your profile accurate, discover tailored learning content, and manage your login securely.
To get started, your administrator will first make the My Profile page available after login. Once enabled, you can access it directly from your portal.
Updating Your Attributes
Attributes are the pieces of information stored in your profile, such as your department, location, or professional qualifications.
Some attributes may be read-only, so you can see but not change them.
Others may be editable, so you can keep them up to date yourself.
To update attributes:
Open your My Profile page.
Go to the Attributes tab.
Edit the fields that are available for you to change.
Select Update to save your changes.
👉 Tip: For editable attributes, you may see a drop-down menu with pre-set values instead of a text box. This helps you select the correct option and avoid formatting errors.
⚠️ Note: Date fields (e.g. hire date, date of birth) are not recommended for editing because they do not have a calendar picker. Entering dates manually may lead to mistakes.
When you save changes, you'll see the confirmation message: “Attributes updated successfully.”
Choosing Your Interests
The Interests tab lets you pick topics you'd like to learn more about. These interests automatically place you into groups that unlock relevant learning paths and recommended content.
To set your interests:
Open your My Profile page.
Select the Interests tab.
Tick the topics that interest you (e.g. Data Protection, Sales, Leadership).
Select Update to save.
Your chosen topics will be linked to curated content and will appear on your home page under an optional learning section.
👉 Tip: If you don't see the Interests tab after it's been activated, log out and back in or clear your cache - it may take a moment to refresh.
When you save changes, you'll see the confirmation message: "Your topics of interest have been updated successfully.”
Resetting Your Password
If your organisation allows user-managed passwords, you'll see a Reset Password tab on your My Profile page.
To reset your password:
Go to the Reset Password tab.
Enter your new password following the portal's requirements.
Save your changes.
⚠️ If this tab doesn't appear, it means password resets are managed centrally by your organisation.
