This article explains how to restore users who have been deleted but not yet fully removed from the database. You will need the Restore deleted users permission to complete these steps.
Searching for deleted users
Select User Management > Restore deleted users using:
Date deleted
Keywords
Associated domain
Search results will be displayed in a table. Each result includes a checkbox that determines whether that user will be restored.
Restoring users
Once the search results appear:
Keep the checkbox selected for any user you want to restore
Uncheck the boxes for users you do not want to restore
Select the Restore button at the bottom of the page
If the restoration is successful, you will return to the user search page.
If unsuccessful, a prompt will appear stating User operation not performed.
After restoration
Restoring a deleted user returns all their associated data to its previous state in the system.
The user’s account will still remain archived, so you will need to reactivate the account before they can access training again.
