This article will explain how you can assign training to an optional category.

This can be a great way to give employees access to training that is not mandatory to further their knowledge.

How do I do this?

  • Click on Management Console

  • Go to Content Management and search for the Learning Path you want to assign.

  • Click into the Learning Path

  • Click on 'Audience'

  • This will take you to the screenshot below:

You can assign the training to your optional category through the top section of the page.

  • Choose the audience group you would like to assign the training to.

  • Choose the optional category you want to assign the training to

  • You should assign this without a deadline (as this is your optional category)

  • Add audience Group

  • Your optional training is now assigned.
