How to send emails to users after they complete modules

Every time a user completes a Learning Path activity (such as e-learning, document, or URL), you can send them an email.

Permissions needed:

  • Edit content

  • Send email when activities are completed

1. Create a template email to acknowledge, recognise or thank the user. In the body text, include the code [module], which automatically updates with the activity’s name

2. Locate the Learning Path, select Edit content in the sidebar, and select Edit next to the activity

3. Select the Send email when activities are completed dropdown, select the template email you created in Step 1, and select Update:

The email will now be sent when the user completes the module. If you need different permissions to work with modules and emails, please get in touch with your Customer Success Manager at [email protected].
