This article will show you where and how to schedule invitation emails. These invitation emails will allow you to send an email to a new employee listing all of the training modules that are assigned to them with a deadline. There are two parts to do this so please follow the steps below. There are two GIFs included in this article. The first GIF will show you Step 1 and the second GIF will help you with Step 2.
To set up the Automated Invitation emails, please follow the steps below:
Click on Management Console at the top of your homepage and click on the Configuration option from the right-hand-side menu called management console.
Click on the Domains option
Search for the user or employee domain you would like to set up the Invitation emails against
Click into this user domain
Scroll down to the First deadline for invitation emails option and choose the initial deadline date (this should be scheduled the first time you want to assign training with a deadline date).
Then go to the First assignment date for invitation emails option and input the date (this will be the date you assign the initial training with a deadline).
Click on the Update domain button
You will now need to select the email that you would like to go out to new employees. To do this please follow the steps below:
Click on Management Console at the top of your homepage and click on the Configuration option from the right-hand-side menu called management console.
Click on the Email Notifications option
Click on Edit template emails
From the template dropdown please select the email that you would like sent to new employees.
Click on Edit
Scroll to the bottom of the page.
From the Use this template as the new starter email for the selected domains section choose the user domain that you set the email to go against and use the select arrow to move the user domain to the Selected Items section
Press Update domains
You have now set up in your invitation email and this will generate an email to all new joiners moving forward who are assigned mandatory training with a deadline.
