Policy approval settings overview

This article explains the three policy settings available in the Policy Hub.

Within the Policy Hub, there are three policy approval modes for policy administrators:

  • No approval

    Add policies without recording approver details or the policy approval date

  • Record approvers manually

    Manually record approvers’ email addresses and policy approval dates. This information is available in the History tab for each policy

  • Approval workflow

    Use approval workflows within your portal. Policy administrators can select from a list of policy approvers and send the policy through the portal, where users can review, comment, and approve. This information is available in the History tab for each policy:

The approval mode selected will affect all policies within the portal
