This article explains how to change the behaviour of the Next or Continue button in a module. Kindly note that you need Edit content permission to access the Content editor.
Find the module you want to edit. You can follow the steps listed in the article about Finding a module.
Select Edit content on the right side of the page.
If the Page or Scrolling section consists of text and images alone, meaning there are no interactive activities or exercises, the Next or Continue button should be triggered by the Page or Scrolling section.
When using scrolling skin, the Page element should always be set to Show Next. Then, set show, hide or delay the Next and Continue buttons in the Scrolling sections.
To change it, in the Content Editor, select Edit on the Page or Scrolling section element:
Page - change the 'Hide/Delay Next' setting.
Scrolling section - to show the Next button, uncheck the 'Hide Next and Continue buttons', and if needed, adjust the 'Show Next and Continue button Delay' setting.
