The assessment is normally the last page of the module and marks the end of the module.
In the assessment, you can change its properties like the number of attempts the user can take, the pass mark, etc. The following explains how to make changes to the assessment.
NOTE: Please note that making changes to a Live module with assigned users will impact the training records data. Ideally, after the rollout, we should make no changes to the assessment.
Kindly note that you need Edit content permission to access the Content editor.
1. Find the module you want to edit. You can follow the steps listed in the article about Finding a module.
2. Select Edit content on the right side of the page.
3. Open the Assessment page and select Edit.
4. If you need to change the Pass mark or any other assessment setting, change it here and select Update at the bottom of the page.
5. To edit questions or Question bank settings, select the Question bank you want to edit.
(There can be one or multiple Question banks in the assessment.)
6. At the top, all Question bank settings can be found. Here, we choose how many questions should picked from this Question bank, add a case statement to be shown next to each of the picked questions, and more.
7. Select Edit by the question you want to change.
NOTE: Making changes to a Live module with assigned users will impact the training records report. Small text changes are fine, but changing the correct answer and adding or removing questions will skew the data. Please make such changes before the rollout only.
8. Decide whether your change is in the Question, Options or Explanation and choose the correct tab.
9. Ensure the appropriate Style is assigned to the text:
assessment-question
assessment-option
assessment-explanation
To learn more about text Styles, please see this article about Applying Style to text.
10. After making the change, select Update at the bottom of the screen.
To add a question, select the Add button when in the Question Bank (step 5).
NOTE: Making such a change to a Live module with assigned users will impact the training records report.
To delete a question, select Delete activity when editing the question (Step 7).
