Linking directly to a learning path or activity

Updated over a week ago

This article explains how you can link directly to a learning path or to an activity within that learning path from outside the Skillcast application. This is helpful when you want to share learning content from your intranet, a policy document, another internal application, or when sending a link via email or chat.

You must have the Edit content permission to access these options. The learning content must also be assigned to the person using the direct link; otherwise, they will not be able to open it.

Linking to a learning path

  • Find and open the learning path you want to link to

  • Copy the Learning Path URL displayed at the top of the learning path page

  • Use this link wherever you need to make the learning path available

Linking to an activity within a learning path

  • Open the learning path containing the activity you wish to link to

  • Select Edit content

  • Open the activity you want to link to

  • Copy the Activity URL from the activity’s properties

  • Add this link into your document, message or system where you want users to access the activity

Notes

  • If the link recipient does not have the activity assigned, they will not be able to access it

  • If you believe you have incorrect permissions, please contact your company admin or Customer Success Manager

You now know how to link directly to both learning paths and activities, helping you share training content quickly and seamlessly across your organisation.
