What is a session time out?

This is a security feature that logs users out of the portal if they have been inactive for a set period of time. The default setting is 360 minutes, but your CSM can adjust this if requested.

Session activity inlcudes things such as opening courses/closing courses, viewing training records,running reports etc. It will not apply to activity within a module or course, for example completing questions or moving to the next page.
