What to do after creating/editing a module

Best practices for testing and publishing your module.

Updated over 2 months ago

Stage 1: Final test

After creating a module or editing your module, test it at least once by viewing the module as a learner.

What to test

  • Look
Does everything look how it's supposed to?

  • Behaviour
Does everything behave how it's supposed to?

  • Content
    Have you proofread the information?

Stage 2: Publish the module

After testing, publish the module if you:

  • Need to send the module URL to a reviewer

  • Use Skillcast LMS for module hosting

  • Need a remote content package to host on a third-party LMS

Need a remote content package to deploy on a third-party LMS? Don't publish – just tell your CRM and they will guide you.

Publish module settings

After you find the module to publish, select Publish module:

This section has three areas.
