How to view Administrator activity

This article shares how to find any changes made to user accounts and how to download an Excel report.

1. Select Management Console > User management and search for the user account

2. Select Administrator activity in the sidebar to view and filter by:

Administrator activity filters

Date from

Automatically populates with the account’s creation date. Can be edited by selecting the data picker.

Date to

Automatically defaults to the account’s last recorded activity. Can be edited by selecting the data picker.

User Profile

Select to view:

  • All

    Shows all actions, select an action to view details

  • User profile added
    Select to view the date and:

    - Latest action (when the user profile was added)

    - Added (date and time)

    - Added by (person or system)

  • User profile updated

    View update history and select to view:

    - Latest action (when the user profile was updated)

    - Profile updated (date and time)

    - Profile updated by (person or system)

    - Attribute updated (attribute name)

    - Attribute updated from (attribute details before update)

    - Attribute updated to (attribute details after update)

Attribute updates won’t appear if the account has been archived or re-activated.

  • User profile archived (only visible if profile has been archived)

    - Latest action (user profile reactivated)

    - Reactivated (date and time)

    - Reactivated by (person or system)

  • User profile re-activated (only visible if profile has been re-activated)

    - Latest action (user profile archived)

    - Archived (date and time)

    - Archived by (person or system)

If multiple updates are made at the same time, all details are included.

Email sent

Select to view:

  • All

    View all emails sent, with email title. Select an email to view more details

  • Individual emails

    Select an email to view:

    - Latest action (when the email was sent)

    - Date sent (date and time)

    - Sender (person or system)

    - Email title

    - Email message (body contents)

Library assigned

Select to view:

  • All

    Shows any audience group the user is or has been part of. Select an audience group to view more details

  • Deleted

    Select a library to view:

    - Latest action (when the library assignment was deleted)

    - Archived (date and time)

    - Archived by (person or system)

    - Added (date and time)

    - Added by (person or system)

    - Library (name of audience group)

    - Removed (date and time of removal)

    - Removed by (person or system)

  • Assigned

    Select a library to view:

    - Latest action (when library assignment was deleted)

    - Added (date and time)

    - Added by (person or system)

    - Library (name of audience group)

Learning Path

Select to view:

  • All

    Shows all Learning Paths. Select to drill down and view more details

  • Learning Path assigned

    Select a Learning Path to view:

    - Latest action (when Learning Path was deleted)

    - Added (date and time)

    - Added by (person or system)

    - Learning Path (title)

  • Learning Path assignment deleted

    Select a Learning Path to view:

    - Latest Action (Learning Path assignment deleted)

    - Added (date and time)

    - Added By (person or system)

    - Learning Path (title)

    - Removed (date and time if it was unassigned)

    - Removed By (person or system that unassigned the Learning Path)

  • Learning Path assignment updated

    Select to view:

    - Latest Action (Learning Path assignment updated)

    - Added (date and time)

    - Added by (person or system)

    - Learning Path (title)

    - Updated by (person or system)

    - Field updated (what update was made)

    - Field Updated From (what the information was before the update)

    - Field Updated To (what the information has been changed to)

Training record

When a user completes assigned training/event/offline activity/policy.

Select to view:

- Training records updated (select a result to drill down and view more details)

- Latest Action (training record updated)

- Added (date and time)

- Added by (person or system that performed the update)

- Training Record (name of training record)

Role

Select to view:

  • All

    Shows all roles. Select to drill down and view more details

  • User role added

    Select to view:

    - Latest action (when the user role was added)

    - Role (name)

    - Added (date and time)

    - Added by (person or system)

    - Role permissions (all permissions included in the role)

  • User role deleted

    Select to view:

    - Latest action (when the user role was added)

    - Role (name)

    - Added (date and time)

    - Added by (person or system)

    - Removed (date and time)

    - Removed by (person or system)

    - Role permissions (all permissions included in the role)

Domain access

Select to view:

  • All

    Shows all domains. Select to drill down and view more details

  • User domain added

    Select to view:

    - Latest action (when the domain was added)

    - Domain (name)

    - Added (date and time)

    - Added by (person or system)

  • User domain deleted

    Select to view:

    - Latest action (when the domain was added)

    - Domain (name)

    - Added (date and time)

    - Added by (person or system)

    - Removed (date and time)

    - Removed by (person or system)

3. After making the changes, select the View Activity button, and the changes appear under the History heading. To download, select the View profile updates (Excel download) button:
