Learning Path Properties explained

You can adjust Learning Path properties to change the appearance to users.

Learning Paths can contain activities (including SCORM/AICC content developed outside Skillcast) that can be assigned to users directly or via audience groups, and have deadlines attached.

1. Select Management Console > Content management and search for a Learning Path or add a Learning Path

2. View the properties, select a field to change, and select Update

Properties list

Title

Adjust the title that will appear to users

Code

Adjust the code that will appear to admins only

Reporting Title

Add a reporting title to group together Learning Paths in the Compliance report.

Status

Select the dropdown to switch between live and suspended

Domain

Change where your Learning Path is saved

Description

Appears above the Learning Path activities

Email description

If you are using the description tag in your notification email templates, this is the text that will appear

Card image

Upload a file or choose an image from the photo library to display on the Learning Path tile

​Single activity launch mode

Choose from:

  • Link to Learning Path from home page
    Opens learning to display the activities within

  • Expand Learning Path on home page
    If there's one activity in the Learning Path it will launch straight into that

Multiple activity launch mode

Choose from:

  • Launch activities in a new window

  • Launch activities in the LMS window

  • Launch activities in the LMS window with a menu

Comments

Choose whether users can add comments

Rating

Choose whether users can add ratings

​Pre-requisites

Choose whether the user needs to complete other selected Learning Paths before they can complete the Learning Path you're editing
