Learning Paths are containers for one or more activities (including SCORM/AICC content developed outside Skillcast) that can be assigned to users directly and/or via Audience groups and have a deadline date attached.
There are some settings that you can choose from on the learning path properties page that will allow to adjust how the learning path appears to the user.
Click on Management Console at the top of your homepage and Click on Content Management from the right-hand-side menu called ‘Management Console’.
You can then use the search form to search for an existing learning path using a keyword or you choose a domain and hit search to find all learning paths in that domain. Click on the learning path code you are looking for a OR Add a new Learning Path
You will be presented with options on a properties page:
Title | Adjust the title that will appear to users |
Code | Adjust the code that will appear to admins only |
Reporting Title | Add a reporting title to group together learning paths on the Compliance report. |

Domain | Change the domain name that your learning path is saved to |
Description | Add a description that will appear above the activities of the learning path |
E-mail description | If you are using the description tag in your notification emails, this is the text that will appear. Check out this article regarding creating email templates Creating email templates |
Card image | Upload a file or choose an image from the photo library to display on the learning path tile. |
Single activity launch mode | Choose from Link to Learning Path from home page (will open learning to display the activities within) and Expand Learning Path on home page (if there is one activity in the learning path it will launch straight into that. |
Multiple activity launch mode | Choose from options to Launch activities in a new window, Launch activities in the LMS window and Launch activities in the LMS window with menu |
Comments | Choose between options to enable or disable comments added to a learning path. Check out this article if you want to learn more about adding comments. |
Rating | Choose between options to enable or disable ratings on a learning path. Check out this article if you want to learn more about adding ratings. |
Pre-requisites | You can choose to have multiple learning paths assigned to user and this field can be used to choose whether user needs to complete other selected learning paths before they can complete the learning path you are editing. |

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Update' to save or confirm your choices.
