Why am I unable to upload users?

If your bulk user upload is not completing successfully, there are several common issues to check. These are usually related to the file format, missing information, or invalid data in your upload template.

1. Is your file in the correct format?

Your file must meet the required formatting standards before it can be uploaded.

2. Are you missing any required information?

The upload will fail if mandatory fields are left blank. Common issues include:

  • Missing email addresses

  • Missing first names or last names

  • Required profile attributes not completed

Review your file to ensure that all compulsory cells contain valid data.

3. Are all date fields in a valid format?

Date cells must contain valid dates.
The upload may fail if you have:

  • Cells with NULL instead of a date

  • Incorrectly formatted dates

  • Text or symbols where a date should be

Ensure each date cell contains a valid and properly formatted date recognised by the system.
