If you are running a report and no data is being returned, there are a few common reasons that may explain this. Checking the points below should help you identify the issue.
1. You may not have access to the required user domains
If you do not have access to any user domains, the report will have no users to query, resulting in a blank output.
Please check your access with your company admin or your Skillcast Customer Success Manager to ensure that you have the correct permissions.
2. Your report filters may be too restrictive
Filters such as date ranges, learning paths, activity types, or user attributes can limit what appears in the report.
Double check that:
Your date range covers the period you want to analyse
You have not filtered to a single learning path or activity unintentionally
No attribute filters are excluding users
Adjust or clear the filters to make sure you are querying the correct information.
3. You may be using the wrong report type
Reports only return data for the types of activities they are designed for.
For example, a Survey report will not return any data if you run it on standard e‑learning modules. Choosing the correct report type for the content you are analysing is essential.
