A learning path acts as container for activities or modules. A learning path can contain one training module or various modules or activities.
Assignments are set at the learning path level, so if you want to assign different mandatory activities to different users with different deadlines then each of these activities will need to be in a separate learning path.
In general, only activities which “go together” should be combined in the same learning path (e.g. a classroom course and online assessment on the same topic).
Learning paths should contain one or more activities that combine to provide a well-defined learning outcome that users can reasonably be expected to complete and that provides a meaningful reporting output. An example of a well-designed learning path would be:
