How to manage open alerts in compliance submissions

Some complete compliance declarations can have open alerts that require action. This article explains what to do.

Permissions needed:

  • Management information

  • Access to the domain where the compliance declaration is located

Viewing submissions

1. Select Management Console > Management information and select the relevant compliance report

2. Select the Submissions tab for an overview including:

  • Submission date

  • Person who submitted the report

  • Number of open and closed alerts

  • (if activated) score and RAG rating

3. Select View submission (1) to review all questions and alerts, select the submission status dropdown (2) to filter submission types, and select the Alerts tab (3) to only view alerts:

Recording actions taken

Depending on the answers given to compliance declaration submissions, you may have open alerts that need action.

You can receive emails sent to users about these alerts, based on your survey and declaration settings.

When reviewing submissions, open alerts are framed in a red box with the word Open in the top-right corner. To record actions taken, use the text input box and select Update:​


For resolved actions, select the dropdown next to the Update button and choose Closed, then select Update:​
