How many attempts do I have to pass a module?

Assessments can be set to have an attempt limit. Usually, it is unlimited, and users can retry the assessment as many times as needed to reach the required pass mark. However, it is possible to set a limited number of attempts. Administrators can select a range or grant unlimited attempts.

The limit will show on the assessment screen. If no limit appears, there are unlimited attempts:

What happens if I fail a module?

For modules without attempt limits, users can keep retrying modules until they pass.

The assessment failed screen will instruct the user on what they should do for the module to be reset. Users usually must contact their manager, who will organise additional attempts or for the module to be reset.

'Assessment failed' screens can be customised to match your company's processes. Users can then follow the instructions.
