We offer full-page templates and templates that fill up only a part of the page or a scrolling section. Templates can be edited and combined together.
Kindly note that you need Edit content permission to access the Content editor.
Examples of a partial page template on the left and a full page template on the right:
Follow the below steps to combine two partial page templates.
1. You can find a guide on how to add templates to your module in the article called Adding content templates.
2. Choose two templates you want to use.
3. Add the first template that should appear on the left of the screen.
4. Open the newly added Page or Scrolling section with the first template.
5. Add the second template to the bottom of the first template. The second partial template will appear on the right of the screen.
6. Open the second newly added template and select Edit on the Page or Scrolling section element.
7. Delete the Page or Scrolling section. The content from the second template will then move to the Page or Scrolling section of the first template.
8. Check that the width of the two templates sums up to 100% to fill up the entire screen width.
You can find out more about the content width and content containers in the article called Content Width and Content Container.
9. Select View as learner to check that the combined templates look and behave as expected. You can find more information on how to do it in the article called View as learner.
10. If the Next or Continue button is not appearing, please check the element that should trigger it. You can follow the article called Showing the Next or Continue button.
